Airport Tree Removal Best Practices

Airports that remove trees due to possible airspace obstruction issues may be obligated to undertake environmental reviews. Guidance is needed on best management practices in the evaluation and removal of trees to minimize the delays with associated environmental reviews.

The objective of this research project is to develop a synthesis of current practices and case studies on airport tree removal.
